‘Food Tech 3.0’ Lab

The Barcelona Food Tech 3.0 Lab focuses on the development and piloting of open source technology for the production, elaboration, consumption, and re- & upcycling of food in cities.

Specifically, the Lab aims to accelerate local food tech initiatives in the areas of technology, business, community & funding. Food Tech 3.0 hopes to socialize holistically sustainable, equitable and citizen-driven food tech by building capacity in innovators and practitioners, during the acceleration process and beyond.

The Lab also emphasises creating local and global connections between new and existing initiatives and amplifying the voices of those working at the nexus of food and tech.

Through the development of events, tool kits and resources in collaboration with research partners, the FoodSHIFT Accelerator Labs will share their approaches and inspire us all to join a food systems shift.
