About the ‘Accessible Food Gardens’ Lab

The Wroclaw FoodSHIFT Accelerator Lab will increase the accessibility of food gardens to different social and aging groups by creating linkages between sustainable local food producers and consumers, education and engagement of stakeholders. It will create a model for establishing new social gardens with training and material support for an urban gardener.

The Lab aims to engage young generations in urban farming by providing education and capacity building relating to permaculture, plant based nutrition, zero-waste, importance of pollinators and circular economy solutions.

Their aim is to create and establish innovative approaches to establishing and managing community gardens to be replicated and applied in other cities.
